I didn't enjoy Nervous Conditions too much. I have yet to read Ch. 10, but I have a feeling it's not going to be a great ending. I never really got into the book, like I do with other genres such as action or horror. The book was very confusing and I didn't understand it too much.
The book went by extremely slow for me. It was boring, and didn't catch my attention much at all. I had trouble staying focused on the book, which is not a good thing. I would forget certain parts that might have been important that I didn't catch. Overall, I give this book 2/5 stars. Not too great for the action/thriller/horror book kind of person.
Caitlin, I'm sorry you didn't enjoy it. Usually class reading is not what you would pick up on your own, though, and that's part of the point. Try to think about what you can/did get out of the novel--what makes it good and worth reading rather than what makes it enjoyable or not.
